Sold- Green Sea Garden beach glass and sterling silver necklace

A finger of green sea glass hangs beside a seaweed stem, hand forged from sterling silver. The seaweed measures 1 1/4″ (3.3 cm) in length. The pendants can be worn separately and hang on an 18″ sterling silver snake chain (16 or 20″ snake chain or box chains may be substituted by request). The glass was found on a Cape Breton beach.

Sea glass, also known as beach glass or mermaid’s tears, is nature’s answer to bottles, china and pottery carelessly thrown into the sea many years ago. The glass is tumbled on the ocean floor, smoothed by the waves and sand until it washes up on shore, waiting to be found by a lucky passerby.
