Autumn
We’ve just returned from a stay in Cape Breton, lots of rain (but enough sun for rainbows), lots of good food, and beautiful autumn colours. The leaves are at their peak during Thanksgiving weekend in Canada, a gorgeous sight in the Cape Breton Highlands.
The weather changed every ten minutes, from rain to shine. A rainbow is supposed to be God’s promise of a second chance. I’ll take it.
The only sunny day was the day we were to drive back home, but we took advantage of the morning sun to hike to Black Brook, challenging but beautiful. We wondered how Shyloh would do, she’s twelve now and its quite a hike, but she did fine. Better than us actually
