Sea Story vintage sea pottery necklace in black and white
The lovely sea pottery in this Sea Story necklace was found on a Nova Scotia beach, a gift from the sea! The sea pottery originated from an ironstone marmalade jar by Dundee and Sons, circa 1950's. All dressed up in sterling silver, the sea pottery pendant has been lovingly smoothed and polished by the sand and sea. The pendant hangs on a simple sterling silver bail on your choice length of sterling silver box chain. Your Sea Story necklace will arrive in a pretty box, with the Sea Glass Story on the inside lid, ready for gift giving. And we'll include a silver polishing cloth to keep your necklace looking bright.
~ All components and chain are sterling silver. Choose from 16, 18, 20, or 22" box chain.
~ We use only genuine sea glass and sea pottery. The colours in this necklace are black and ivory. You will receive the exact necklace pictured.
~ The pendant measures 1 2/3 inches (4.5 cm) in length. See 4th photo to help visualize size.
~ Gift wrapping option available, include your own special message in the card!
~ Handmade in Nova Scotia, Canada.
Sea glass, also known as beach glass or mermaid’s tears, is nature’s answer to bottles, china and pottery carelessly thrown into the sea many years ago. The glass is tumbled on the ocean floor, smoothed by the waves and sand until it washes up on shore, waiting to be found by a lucky passerby.
