When these beautiful homes were “renovated”, the original windows were often discarded. The sea has given the glass back to us, lovingly smoothed and polished. The Victorian necklace's neutral tones make it perfect for every day and can just as easily be dressed up for a beach wedding. The pendant measures 1 1/4" in length and hangs on your choice length of sterling silver box chain. Sea glass, also known as beach glass or mermaid’s tears, is nature’s answer to bottles, china and pottery carelessly thrown into the sea many years ago. The glass is tumbled on the ocean floor, smoothed by the waves and sand until it washes up on shore, waiting to be found by a lucky passerby.
